Welcome
                 History of Selu Temple
Selu Temple of Hoopeston, Il, was founded by Correllian Elder Ed
Hubbard on 31 October, Year 3 Aq.  (2003 AD)

Rev Ed acted as Founding Temple Head and Chief Director for the Temple,
appointing Rev. Ruthann Amartiefio as initial Chief Priestess for the Temple.  Rev. Ed has a history of founding Temples in areas that need them, then handing them over to well-chosen successors when the Temple is securely established.

Selu began a program of regular rituals and special events including a Witches Ball, and Thanksgiving dinner, as well as offering classes.  One of the first people to become involved in the Selu Temple was Rev. Virginia Powell, a Hoopeston Native who had begun her First Degree studies with Witchschool and completed them in Selu becoming Selu's first First Degree Initiate.

Rev. Virginia subsequently became Pursuivant Priestess for Selu Temple, with the intention that she would succeed as Chief Priestess.

In 1 September Year 5 Aq.  (2005 AD) Rev. Virginia Powell achieved her Third Degree and was made Chief Priestess of Selu.
